St. Patrick’s Day is on Monday, but Baltimore City will kick off the festivities on Sunday with a 5K and a parade. The Shamrock 5K will begin at 1 p.m. at Charles and Mulberry streets in Baltimore St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival 2025 happening at Washington Monument (Baltimore), 699 Washington Pl, Baltimore, MD 21201-5249, United States on Sun Mar 16 2025 at 12:00 am to 02:00 pm Shamrock 5K Race. Taking place immediately before the Baltimore St. Patrick Parade is the Shamrock 5k Race.The race begins at 1:00 p.m. at Charles & Mulberry Streets and finishes at Power Plant Live. St. Patrick 5K and Parade, Sunday, March 16, Celebrate St. Patrick in Baltimore! Mass will take place at 10:45 a.m. at the Basilica of the Assumption. There will be a 10:45 a.m. Mass, followed by the 5K race at 1 p.m., and a parade at 2 p.m. These are rain or shine events. Dance troupes, marching bands and bagpipers sporting green will trot through downtown Baltimore for the 67th Baltimore St. Patrick Parade this Sunday, closing several roads around the Inner Harbor. Several roads in Mount Vernon will close around 11:30 a.m., and the parade will kick off at 2 p.m. at the Washington Monument. Runners will turn around at Jackson Street and proceed Course Time Limit: The Shamrock 5K has a course time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes (this is calculated from the time your wave crosses the start line). This time limit is necessary as the St. Patrick's Day parade begins shortly after the conclusion of the race.
